On this day in 1943 a 5 year old Dutch Jewish boy was murdered in Auschwitz after being deported from the Orphanage Leiden. One of 11 children, 8 were murdered in Sobibor with their mother & 2 survived with their father. His name was Maurits Alvares Vega

Aged 14 my brother and I convinced my mum that woodpecker cider was a type of apple juice , full of vitamins , she added a 2 litre bottle to her Asda shop for us 😀

On this day in 1944, a French Jewish girl was born. On the the 30 Jul 1944 she was deported, with her mother, from Toulouse to Buchenwald then Ravensbrück where she perished in Feb 1945. Her mother perished later the same month. Her name was Elisabeth Teplitz

In February 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz with her mother Mietje. They were murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.
From a UK retired cop , could someone explain are these thugs actual law enforcement officers who have been properly trained and hopefully have some sort of moral compass or are they specially recruited bounty hunters ? They all seem to wearing a mix of different uniforms . Who are they ?
