How did you like it?
I've enjoyed mine, despite not being everything I was hoping for.

Pokopia is definitely a system seller for Switch 2, and the best game by far that I have played on the system.
It's Animal Crossing, but the residents actually do something; like have actual individual useful skills.
Anyhoo, if you're on the fence at all, just get it.
OMG, I loved this song.
I'm also usually playing in ilclan era now. Clan Invasion is cool, but I'm surprised these books stop there.
The painting section is just a pretty normal camo look.
Overall, the book is a great clean and concise manual for building a Merc force to bring to the table. If you like the other 2 Force Manuals, definitely pick this one up too.

The book gives a great, brief overview of many canon merc companies, plus background on Mercs in general.
Stats for some famous Mercs, a few new mechs, new abilities, and great force building info. There's also a random merc OpFor section, which is nice.

Quick thoughts on Force Manual: Mercenaries for Battletech and Alpha Strike:
If you have the other two Force Manuals, you'll know what you're getting with this. It's unfortunate that these only cover up to late Clan Invasion, but hopefully we get some updates at some point.

I'm going through it now. I'll give quick thoughts soon, but so far I really like it.
Finally!
Can't wait to dig into this!

Looks great!
After my Draconis box, I'm going to paint some pink and black mercs.
I went digital.
I really have to use pink on more mechs, it looks very sharp.
A Battletech Hellion miniature painted green and yellow

I knew my viewership would take a hit if I did less D&D content, but goddamn.

Used #RalPartha 1985 Battledroids "Hornet", painted in an interesting camo pattern of airbrushed sky tones on the top, and earth tone at the bottom! It's so very interesting looking, I plan on keeping it like this, and just trimming it up a little. ๐ #Battletech
Cool mini, and a pretty neat idea for a camo pattern.
A Caesar-3R, Warhammer-6L, Schrek PPC Carrier, and Demolisher Heavy tank, painted in an alpine camouflage pattern fading to a charcoal grey near the ground. The bases are decorated in a rocky tundra scheme.
I'd been so burned out at work that I didn't have the energy to paint anything for months. I broke that streak this week with some tiny robots and tonks for Battletech; the start of a little mercenary unit for a campaign in my FLGS. Stuff to fix, but Done Enough #nerdlings #minipainting #battletech
My copy of Force Manual Mercenaries finally shipped! Can't wait to get this one!

Salvage job vintage painted #RalPartha piece. #Battletech '86 "Flea" was painted in blue-grey, fluorescent green, black details, heavy highlights. Beautiful basing work! But some was missing. I added antennas, covered the green, shaded, repainted details & cockpit, rebuilt missing base textures.
Are you at least in a cool orient express type train? Possibly with a mystery afoot?
Anyway, here are some of my minis:
This is pretty close to what I've been doing.
Looking forward to seeing the final text, already have a pre-order!
It would also be cool to see some mechanics for having a "servant"; demonic, undead, etc.; for these situations.
The player argument being that a demon summoner should be able to have a demon do more than run up, punch someone, and vanish, in the fiction.
I generally allow other uses of combat specific abilities like this, but I'm just curious to hear someone else's take on it.
(Hope this makes sense)

I'd be very curious to know how you handle a situation that comes up in our games a lot in Daggerheart.
Using the Warlock "Summon Horror" spell as an example, would you allow the Warlock to summon a horror for non-combat purposes following the fiction first design?

It's definitely from my time, but I've never heard of it. Looks amazing though! Very grim Starship Troopers, with hints of Evangelion in the theme.
Been playing it since Wednesday, and having a blast! It's not an easy game, but it definitely feels like you're a captain making hard decisions.
Only problem so far is I can't figure out how to get Janeway available for away missions. (Maybe you can't?)
Best Trek game I've played in years.
Any idea how you send Janeway on away missions to get her some XP?
Am I missing something?
It's hilarious how my phone just added the word coffee with Janeway.
I'd love if it had Janeway coffee voice acting, but for the price it's amazing.
If you're a Star Trek fan and want to really feel like you're commanding a starship, I highly recommend Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown.
I'm having a blast!
There is also a demo if you don't want to take my word for it.
