You should have made an image of Emily dressed as Rick Astley doing a little dance π€£
... what's the reasons? π

I'm not a visual artist, but could I interest anyone in a short, bittersweet erotic story about a fem werewolf making an ill-advised booty call to an ex?

It will require a critical mass of content to get a reader to come back to the site more than once... But filling in some back catalogs on a site with a better reading interface is a good start! (I need to sit down and add more of my stuff...)
What I love most about writing Scout, though, is that ultimately they are happy and successful and loved with all of those traits intact.
None of those aspects are problems to solve or flaws to excise, they win by embracing their identities, and by allowing themselves to be embraced by others π₯°
Those tattoos... They almost make me want to get tattoos π±
Scout is not strictly autobiographical, but I do relate to them deeply, and it feels so good to know that other people do too π₯°
And... And then what happens??
Soft tummies working out at the gym is one of my favorite gendersπ₯°
give me a single honest sentence fragment from a human saying they enjoyed my story over this any day π₯°
A fit black man dressed in Princess Leia's harem girl costume bends their white enby partner over the back of a couch while they're dressed as Han Solo.
"He unbuttons my pants and pulls them down roughly, dragging them down my legs, leaving them gathered around my ankles. My underwear follows and suddenly I'm face down, ass up, completely exposed."
I.M.Fauve drew this, inspired by my crossdressing cosplay storyπ₯΅

2-panel comic about two guys lamenting about modern games whilst refusing to acknowledge indie games
The Mothman cryptid gives oral pleasure to a partially undressed woman. His proboscis gently probes her vagina as he carefully grasps her thighs with his insectile claws.
"His proboscis unfurls from his face and begins probing my feminine flower. His flexible tendril pushes into my slick tunnel, extending deeper and deeper, creating indescribable sensations within."

One of the best feelings!
Also, not everyone works this way, but I adore the social aspect of being part of a beta-reading circle. I get so excited to see other writer's works take shape, we become each other's biggest fans, it's so encouraging and collegial!
A delightfully talented sketch artist has decided that he's inspired by some of my stories, and has been sending me some works in progress... It's making my day, I'm going to see if he'll let me share some of them here with credit!
Personally I'm a big fan of having a beta-reader or two give my stories a once-over before publishing!
They often catch mistakes, and can also be a huge help in suggesting tweaks to tone, pacing, character motivation, descriptions... My beloved beta readers always make my stories better π₯°
Loved this story. Another great offering from a talented writer.
hello, friends! My first new (solo) story in a couple of months just published on @literotica.com , The Opposite of Jealousy! It's a continuation of the Scout stories, about work wives, conference trips, and poly friend groups π₯°

It's about loss, estrangement, and the hope of reconciliation. A precocious and slightly annoying college-age daughter tries to push her separated parents back together using trickery, music, bad weather, and her knowledge of 18th century philosophyπ
The "Loving Wives" story category on @literotica.com is notoriously touchy and difficult to please, containing multiple factions of readers that want different things. So of course @actingup170.bsky.social and I co-wrote an LW story π

No rhyme or reason to it, that I've seen. Many stories are still getting approved and published within 48 hours or less. I haven't submitted a new story in a couple of months, but I'm getting close to finishing a new one, so we'll see what happens... π€·ββοΈ
I personally have no complaints, I've been blessed with wonderful story comments, my ratings have been good, I've talked to and collaborated with amazing writers! I want Lit to last forever, it's a bastion of un-enshittified creative community!
Some authors are seeing loooonnngg delays with the publishing queue, weeks and weeks for some. I'm seeing hints that the site's sole admin/owner isn't as active or engaged as they used to be. Transparent communication was never their strong suit, but I'm worried that it's getting worse π
I want that to be true, I hope that it is! But there are other signs of platform decline besides just the publishing queue problems, and I'm worried about a cascade of authors fleeing.
I'm not planning on going anywhere! I just think that maybe I should be publishing in more than one place.
Ao3 seems like total anarchy to me, my brain can't even parse what I'm looking at any time I go there and try to find stories to read.
Are there other options I should be looking at, or am I missing something with these other sites?
I've tentatively toyed with @gettheoreads.bsky.social, slick looking, but absolutely zero reader engagement of any kind.
I like a lot of what Wattpad has going on in terms of interface, but I don't think I understand what reader expectations are there...
Given how things are going on @literotica.com, I think I should probably not be keeping all of my erotica eggs in one basket... but what are the most viable alternatives for my kind of weird-but-mostly-vanilla smut?
