Just a sample, but Iβm pretty proud of the work my 7th grade Social Studies students did for their exploration of Ancient China.

Only one book and itβs a banger!
Youβve never seen Diana like this before. π₯
One of my all time favorite baseball players to watch. Not only will his stolen base record never be broken, but I was able to witness two of them in the 80βs when he played for New York.
And, at that game, he took the first pitch of the ball game deep and gone!
Rest In Power, Rickey.
After being out sick all week, I decided to end each class by getting into the holiday spirit a little.
Here are the three songs that made the playlist. A little something for everyone. π
β¦and, yes, classes broke out into song. π
βHey, you guys!β
Grabbed this from Paul Thomasβs wall.
I feel more festive already.

Another day of writing for grad school.
Shout out to Julie Valley Schoenborn for creating space for me.
My motivational playlist:
Passing time. Friday. 2:15 pm.
Standing in the hallway.
A student stops at a distance, smiles, and said, βMr. Schoenborn, I really appreciate you as a teacher.β
I pat my heart to show my appreciation and say, βThank you, that means more than you know.β
Middle school is a good place to be.
Thatβs 12!
How many NIN albums did it take me to write my second Critical Research Review? This many. π
We ready. #TNF

Snow day.
Locking in to grad school work with the NIN discography.
It begins with this.
Seven-panel comic depicting me toiling away at the difficult task of drawing comics, considering quitting, and a rather conveniently received email from a 5th grader that encouraged me to continue. Comics can be hard work, often with setbacks and challenges, but the inspiration they might give to others can make all the toil worth it.
True story.
