UN distances itself from International Women’s Day website winning corporate partnerships Sainsbury’s, Barclays and University College London have all drawn on themes created by IWD site run by London business with no link to UN

Keep doing brilliant things to uplift women but please know that GiveToGain is not this year's UN #IWD2026 theme. It is entirely made-up by a private corporation with a flashy .com site. It profits yet no charitable contributions on accounts for the past 10yrs

#InternationalWomensDay is this Sunday, but we want to celebrate early.

We recognize that women, girls + gender-diverse people are disproportionately impacted by climate change.

Let's #GivetoGain by sharing resources & support to change that.

Help us promote a location change: ~500M from Albert Campbell. We’ll have a lot of signage + someone from the group to help with redirecting. The more folks who know the new location the better.

The findings? Canada could make every bus in the country electric for a “reasonable” cost, and with a “trivial” impact on power generation, and a 93-per-cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.

There’s a lack of research on the benefits +feasibility of electrifying buses - incl. school buses - in Canada. Excellent to see @mcmasteruniversity.bsky.social using publicly available data to model the costs, electricity needs, and emission reductions from bus electrification at a national scale.
