A good looking pint of Murphyโs (the best stout in Ireland, contrary to John Gallagherโs opinion), with a computer screen in the foreground and a rather gray sky through a glass wall of windows in the background.
Another Saturday in an airport.
Doggo living the dream, too.
Living the dream.
FT unparalleled in their use of informative graphs, maps and charts.
Is the ETA just a way to bring in some easy cash for the UK government?
How is this real?!
This is truly sad stuff from Laffan, who Iโll add is doing the University she purportedly leads absolutely no favours. Pretty shameful honestly.
Will make for a depressing St Patrick's Day viewing...
I dodged the proverbial bullet when I decided to go Cork via London, rather than Dublin to Dubai or Doha. Not sure about other colleaguesโฆ
The American version of the weather with F. Temperatures all show highs in the mid-to-high 90s.
Weather in Celsius, with temperatures in the mid 30s.
Heading to India on Saturday, and wooohooo boy I am going to melt.
Really cool to see this collaboration between Ulster Folk Museum and Joshua Burnside.
Suez 2.0
...this is the future of FF?
Literally been in DC for less than 5 minutes and already seen 4 National Guard on patrol(?). Rather jarring I must say
If one is looking to watch a charming, sad, beautifully shot documentary, may I suggest Sanatorium?
Why, yes, I am drinking a very large cup of Dunkin' Donuts coffee as my body thought waking up at 4:35am eastern time made good sense. Jet leg always worse on day 2 for me.
A move screen showing the documentary โDaniel OโConnell/ The Emancipatorโ which in very small prints notes a panel discussion of participants including yours truly.
Really great getting to participate in a panel discussion of the documentary Daniel OโConnell: The Emancipator at the Capital Irish Film Festival run by Solas Nua.
Totally. I think of it as very thin.
Iโm not terribly wise but just imagine itโs down to cleaning of lines etc.
Iโm also a Murphyโs man, but will happily drink a creamy Beam, too. Tbh, Guinness is perfectly fine, Iโm happy to drink it. I just think itโs the least flavourful.
๐ถ Down the Mardyke through each elm tree,
Where we sported and play'd 'neath each green leafy shade
On the banks of my own lovely Lee,

A pint of half drunk airport Guinness.
Itโs wild to me that of the three stouts on this island, the most popular is also the poorest tasting by a wide margin.
A sunrise through a smudged bus window.
I am choosing to post about music or the beautiful sunrise this morning because the alternative is dread and sorrow about the state of the world.
I think Vernon does all the songwriting and it is *his* band so to speak - but S. Carey (who is a percussionist in Bon Iver) also has a solo career.
I havenโt paid much attention to Bon Iver in a long time but this is a great track. I also had no idea Jenn Wasner of Wye Oak had officially joined the band.
A large drone in the air.
I do not like these stupid delivery drones buzzing through the air.
A field with daffodils and blue skies with clouds. The sun is setting in distance producing a tint of orange.
Hark! Is that a blue sky I see? In Cork!?
This to infinity.
Vintage unit I got for free from someone giving it away. Who needs an on/off switch or normal size bread plates when you get industrial power like this thing?! 10/10
