this is tremendous
Legitimately one of the most annoying little mundane occurrences.
The video game industry decided to discontinue their product, the video game, in exchange for trying to make Fortnites. They have in recent years found out this doesn't work, so they have pivoted from making Fortnites to making ????????????????? nothing I guess
I DON'T WANT TO "SHARE AND CREATE MY OWN STORY"
I DON'T WANT A SHARED PLATFORM
I WANT YOU TO MAKE SOMETHING COOL, AND THEN I PLAY WITH IT
ALONE, NOT IN A SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT
HOW IS THIS HARD TO UNDERSTAND
phil spencer collecting his final xbox paycheck
100%, man. 😄
The last time I did it, literally as soon as I started, I thought, “Well, this was a huge mistake.” But you can’t stop, it’s too late for that. 😅
So I kept going, splashed water on my face, raised my head up to get my first look at myself, and was *immediately* like, “…well, fuck.” 😂
I have not fully shaved in over twenty years, and in all likelihood, literally no one will ever see my “whole” face ever again in my life. 😅
Robert Duvall has shuffled off this mortal coil.
He wasnt he flashiest or the loudest, he was just the best. In performance after performance he showed the depth and complexity within his characters with grace and power .
But to me he's always gonna be Tom Hagen the level headed consigliore
😢
I feel bad for the Nazgûl. All they did was enter a giveaway for a free magic ring, which later turned out to be a scam. This happens to people on the Internet all the time.
danny's original tweet which reads, Today, students at my high school in Chicago held an Anti-ICE protest. I was the only one that decided to hold a sign that said ‘I Love ICE’. Instead of allowing me to express my opinion, I was assaulted — Just for standing up for law enforcement. What is happening to America? there is a 47 second video that sees multiple other kids talk smack to him and one of them just lays into him physically
a quote tweet that has transcription from the punch. the tweet reads:“You’re gonna punch me?” “Yeah” “Then you’re gonna in trouble for that” “Okay” Followed by this frame is one of the hardest things I’ve seen on the internet this week. the frame in question is the kid winding up for a punch. it looks exactly like the pepe punching meme
over on x the everything app some Chicago high school kid named Danny Spud tried to disrupt his school's anti-ICE protest by yelling about how much he loves ICE and then filmed himself getting walloped by a fellow student lmao
the quote tweet making fun of him has 3x the likes
“I strongly condemn this incident that I have devoted myself to facilitating. It is an unacceptable tragedy, and I will continue to do absolutely nothing to prevent future similar events.”
That's why we splurged on the VIP: in those four hours, we should see basically everything in Epic.
But then it's over around 2pm, and we have Express Passes and the rest of the day to re-visit as much or as little as we want.
We've never gone because, once you're already committed to going to Disney, it's a lot cheaper to just keep adding Disney days to your trip compared to adding on a Universal day or two.
But we're going this year for our 20th anniversary, and the Gen X in me *has* to see SNW, so we're splurging. 😁
I've never set foot on Universal property in my life, but this is happening for our 20th anniversary trip in December, and I'm freaking stoked. 🤘🏻
Added to my list. 👍🏻👍🏻
I’ve thought for years that it would have been better to make Indy the American James Bond and recast him after the third film and then always have him able to fight Nazis. However, in today’s Hollywood, it’s hard not to think this will be very bad
Legit talked about this movie and its depiction of therapy with my therapist. 😄

The problem is: they've mistaken correlation for causation. They think their parents and grandparents had a good life *because* of manufacturing jobs. When, in reality, their parents and grandparents had a good life *despite* manufacturing jobs, because of unions, high taxes, and social policies.
Me, with John Scalzi!
You guys, I met @scalzi.com (one of my all time favorite writers). 🤯
I've never felt so seen, and yet so attacked. 😅
I ran Jeweler's Sanctum today (from AA 1) for a group of new players, and it could not have gone better. Big 👍🏻👍🏻 for it.
I'm ready to run the other modules, for sure.
Anyway, we'll pick it back up in a couple of weeks.
This all only happened because the Thief had foot surgery, and I figured he could do with some cheering up while he's housebound, and D&D was something I knew we could all do together for a Saturday.
Good deeds matter. 😊
And the other newbie (who is my oldest nephew) agreed to be our mapper for the session.
I was pleasantly surprised at how accurate his map compared to the printed one.
But it was 100% his fault, and really just a consequence of him being greedy.
Still, I got these texts from him before I could even get home.
