Legitimately one of the most annoying little mundane occurrences.

The video game industry decided to discontinue their product, the video game, in exchange for trying to make Fortnites. They have in recent years found out this doesn't work, so they have pivoted from making Fortnites to making ????????????????? nothing I guess

The last time I did it, literally as soon as I started, I thought, “Well, this was a huge mistake.” But you can’t stop, it’s too late for that. 😅

So I kept going, splashed water on my face, raised my head up to get my first look at myself, and was *immediately* like, “…well, fuck.” 😂

I have not fully shaved in over twenty years, and in all likelihood, literally no one will ever see my “whole” face ever again in my life. 😅

That's why we splurged on the VIP: in those four hours, we should see basically everything in Epic.

But then it's over around 2pm, and we have Express Passes and the rest of the day to re-visit as much or as little as we want.

We've never gone because, once you're already committed to going to Disney, it's a lot cheaper to just keep adding Disney days to your trip compared to adding on a Universal day or two.

But we're going this year for our 20th anniversary, and the Gen X in me *has* to see SNW, so we're splurging. 😁

I've never set foot on Universal property in my life, but this is happening for our 20th anniversary trip in December, and I'm freaking stoked. 🤘🏻

The problem is: they've mistaken correlation for causation. They think their parents and grandparents had a good life *because* of manufacturing jobs. When, in reality, their parents and grandparents had a good life *despite* manufacturing jobs, because of unions, high taxes, and social policies.

This all only happened because the Thief had foot surgery, and I figured he could do with some cheering up while he's housebound, and D&D was something I knew we could all do together for a Saturday.

I was pleasantly surprised at how accurate his map compared to the printed one.
