One of the biggest cruxes of the argument was that MLB was one of the toughest positions to play, so there's no way a team would be better if they used two.

One of my favorite stupid arguments I ever got in was a guy insisting that the 4-3 was the clearly superior defensive scheme, regardless of the defensive players available, or the opponent they're facing off against.

I think about that one every once in a while when I see the people running the US.

This is war as content creation. The entire administration is centered around content creation. A “win” here will be whenever they feel like they’ve worn out this particular storyline and are ready to move on to the next chapter and generate more content.

A more interesting and diverse world, even if I'm not part of those communities. Not everything is for me, but it's nice to see how many people can be things that aren't for me, while I still have My Stuff, as well.

It's weirdly soothing to see Bluesky's communities of aging furries and LGBTQ people, because it's evident that those cultures aren't going anywhere, even if people have tried to break them for far longer than I've been alive.

The Trump people are used to only spending time around their own, and don't realize how there are large numbers of people around the world who aren't actually keen on being enslaved and/or betrayed to their deaths by Donald Trump.

Class solidarity, as always, will triumph. Both men have only one ideology: endless hunger.
