Every time there is DMCA drama happening I read it as DCMC and all I can think is "oh no, what did Shimmy Zmizz do?"

I should promote our streams more on socials but then people might actually watch them and that sounds like a disaster in the making
Nothing I love more than a review describing my music as "serviceable". I strive for serviceability, they say!
They've won battles at all so their track record is probably better
the fun part is my team are a tongue twister to list off
Team as of now, maybe finalized

tbh they're probably just going to triple down on the beach/sea iconography with the starters too
To be fair from a design standpoint having a free heal before a boss is also nice for grinding if the player gets stuck on the boss, so it's not entirely pointless
No son of mine disses Kiddy Kong without getting grounded for weeks young man
were you an ugly baby or one of the cute ones
I find it funny that the most polarizing character in the DK series is a literal baby who appeared in like two games, I'll be real I don't get the Kiddy Kong hate train. We just need to accept that sometimes babies are ugly--and that's fine; they're still bundles of joy--and move on with our lives.
(I am -clearly- joking)
Now see, in this scene, Stuart is sad because George and all the other kids at school don't want to hang out with him. This endlessly rewatchable classic stars non problematic actors like James Woods and has cutting edge 2001 CG so you know it's a rocking good time
Stuart Little 2
bring me back to a time where they made good movies about good old fashioned family values
Obviously I've done a lot of work for Crescent Prism in particular recently but it being a slower project means essentially I'm sitting on a whole pile of tracks so it's a long time before I show much. Maybe it's a sign I should write more music that's just for fun and not just project work.
It's odd because I feel like I've slowed down, but then I think back and I'm like idk I did like two games' worth of soundtrack in the past two years so I don't know where that sense is coming from. Maybe it's just that I'm doing a "normal" job on top of it or the reality of gamedev taking a while.
My favorite track I ever wrote was probably this one from Soma Union, and I was thinking back on it like it was a recent one but it's like 5 years old at this point. I guess during the pandemic my sense of time got really screwy.

Thinking a lot about my music work lately. I've simultaneously kind of scaled back how much I've focused on my music work at a time when to be honest I've written a lot of stuff. It's a weird dichotomy.
Was trying to remember a Will Forte quote from Tim & Ericβs Billion Dollar Movie and accidentally figured out how to make Googleβs AI tool shut up
Makes me sad 'cause for me, it elevated a character I already really liked, but people are really weird about it! I'm stoked to see them do more with him in part 3 because he sort of stops being part of the story in the original game once disc 1 ends so I'm happy he's getting more to do!
Yeah I'm dancing around saying exactly what's going on but imo he is so much more fun now. But mostly it makes me annoyed that you can't Google the character at all without reddit threads about his Rebirth portrayal being character assassination or people talking about benching him.
I'm being kind of vague because I know a lot of people haven't gotten there but it is basically the equivalent of this conspiracy board suddenly getting a new element that completely recontextualizes it 3 decades later.
The real issue is he's actually being localized correctly when the original translation completely botched getting the point across, so now it's catching people off guard. Max Mittelman honestly does a fantastic job and the fact that it's throwing so many people for a loop means he nailed it.
one of Nomura (of Disney Superfan fanfiction Kingdom Hearts fame)'s concept arts is literally a traceover of Scar like good lord I am begging gamers to realize the context in which games are designed, I know they're mainly just complaining the voice is higher pitched but like please put 2+2 together
