Been working hard on the HUD for the player, my truest bane! I'll probably have some pictures for it later in the week.
I've updated my prices on Vgen for the time being to get more practice with commissions where I can. Prices in USD.
Portraits are 25$
Busts are 40$
Full-Body or Near are 60$

Added a target dummy and a hit effect based on point of contact! Super happy with how it's looking.
The dummy itself was meant to be an enemy in the Jam version but I didn't have the time to add it!
Also time to experiment with tags!

I love everything about this, the armor looks so good!
Added in a defensive move and a low damage projectile to catch enemies that would normally be out of reach. Might need to throw in a target dummy!
Perhaps a singular big sword is better than two floating swords!
I'm really struggling with digital art, pixel art and traditional feels fairly intuitive to me but when I move to digital I really struggle for whatever reason.
I'm excited to give it a go!
Extra points if you can guess what inspired the outfit!

After much procrastination and redesigns, I've finally begun some work on Dragonfruit Jam.
Got some work done on the new character sprite and gave her a neat shooty sword attack, needs a bit more work and I'm not too sure on the return animation but overall fairly pleased!

Art is awfully strange, sometimes I feel like I'm improving, sometimes it feels like I'm worse than ever. I can see why people give up early into the process!
Day 6: Pierce, I've been reading some blame! recently and felt like a silicone life character would suit.
Not the proudest of this but I felt like I learned some stuff. I'll definitely have to poke around with some more of Nihei's stuff in the future, it's very striking.

Day 3: Crown! One of my characters being cocky!
Shoulders are a bit messed up as is the left hand but overall fairly happy with this! Getting used to traditional stuff, kind of really enjoying it!
