sheer spite is pretty terrible at making money but sometimes ok at moving money to other people, and i feel grateful for the opportunity to do so.

When I'm chatting w people at my table I as much as possible ask them if they also make zines, bc it is fun to hear about things people make, or help them feel empowered to make stuff if they don't, & the amount of people in the last few years who say they heard about zines in a college class is π

I wrote about how and why to run an in-person zine distro, something I did and enjoyed from about 2012-2016.
I recommend it! tbh it's a lot easier and more fun than running a distro via an online store.
