There is a wealth of bipartisan scholarly literature that goes back decades warning the US against invading Iran. And here we are, on the cusp of invading Iran. None of it mattered.

My understanding is that an amount of chaos and factionalism still exists in Syria and it's difficult to attribute those actions to the new government. I would like to see a less chaotic Syria but that takes time.
Barring some of the violent episodes that have happened early on (and those Israeli strikes) the democracy is still consolidating but itโs a long process.
Trump seems to have largely taken Syria under his wing so maybe they can do that without getting fucked with from now on idk
It is actually crazy how much credibility (however much he had) this guy is burning over Platner.
I still don't understand why people keep agreeing to these interviews.
Yeah but he keeps raising prices on everything for no reason
That sucks
Maybe Iโm dumb but I donโt think Trump understands shopping
Wait whoโs the shopping guy
Got it. I'm sorry for your loss. To clarify: You want a eulogy for your father that's ๐๐ป๐ถ๐พ๐๐ฒ, sounds ๐๐บ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐, and captures the ๐น๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ต๐ถ๐บ. I get it. He wasn't just your father โ he was your Dad. Here a few options I came up with:
Pretty strong overlap. Iโve been pretty disheartened by how convinced people who should know better are by popular unconvincing narratives
People who voted Trump in 2016 because they thought Hillary would be too careless with information security=people who voted Trump in 2024 because they thought Kamala would start a war in the Mideast
What fucks me off so much is how none of these people will ever own up to it
Gosh, it would have been nice to have a left of center Supreme Court that wouldnโt do any of this shit to trans kids, but Iโm sure your concern about Hillaryโs private email server was sincere and much more consequential.
war of kushner's ear
Look at my regime change dawg
Tillis, like Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, Rand Paul, & anyone else ostensibly still a "moderate" & "pro-democracy" GOP Senator, is welcome to caucus with the Democrats, giving them control of the Senate & actually fighting back against the authoritarianism, at any time.

If his officials hear him say it to them a second time probably.
Really donโt want to lose my estradiol.
Tom Friedman, cheerleader for the Iraq War, is here to tell you what to think about Iran www.nytimes.com/2026/03/02/o...
Trump has an emotional commitment to tariffs that I donโt think applies to war with Iran (that seems to be Hegseth). If his business buddies convince him that ending the war is the right call he might do it with this exact outcome, but also looking for predictable logics in that man is hard to do.
Well I mean first and foremost it is in fact pretty unusual and rare for an enemy country to have not just the goal to change your regime but the goal to ensure you never have a new regime at all
Actually he might, he seems to be able to back down when he faces credible resistance
How I see it is AI will exacerbate bad and underdeveloped theory and conclusions, especially of marginalized groups. You canโt AI your way into understanding and properly researching Black politics, for example. What you can do is come up with harebrained ideas and potentially harmful conclusions.
A bunny on a skateboard rolls down a homemade ramp, in a backyard, about to go off a jump. Their friends also cheer them on on either side of the ramp.
Daily bunny no.3246 is about to break their record
Hillary Clinton has more than her share of flaws, but when it comes to "showing congressional Republicans the proper level of contempt" she is flawless.
When you go into a war with no plan, yeah you're right. But having to give up concessions to Iran was just not something that I thought would happen.
There are 600 stories like this and every one of these people will be throne-sniffing to the point of asphyxia again in a week. Weโve been over this 1,000 times. Thereโs no point.
Are we gonna lose this war??
Are we actually about to lose a war the President started for no reason?
I will really never forgive my country for this
