Thatβs great. Much appreciated. We all want better social media and we all (mostly) appreciate that in order to do that, we need to use the existing social media - no matter how bad it is - to help get us to that point

My browser allows page translation, so should be straightforward for you too.
Thanks for your attention, btw.
Thanks for responding Natalie. I think itβs a discussion worth having in GP. For stats see: fedidb.com/stats. Obviously tiny compared to big social, but there are tools to cross post from Masto to X/FB etc. and it makes a worthwhile point doing from fedi to big social rather than other way round
@nataliegreenpeer.bsky.social
Hi. Thereβs a lot of us over on Mastodon who really want a proper Green Party presence there. I messaged Zack yesterday suggesting that the best way forward would be for the GP to run their own instance, thus cutting out the billionaire middlemen. Any chance? π
Even better, why not set up a Green Party mastodon server, so that the Greens can then control completely their own output, thus bypassing any billionaire supported social media altogether π
@zackpolanski.bsky.social Hi Zack. I post mostly from Mastodon (cupoftea.social/@robtherunt) and see your posts there via X.
It would be so much more pleasing to the fedifolk if you actually posted directly from Mastodon (like you do on here too). So can you get that set up, please? ππ
Want to retire into your 70s? A Government review of the state pension age could see all of us forced to work longer. They're targeting ordinary people to plug funding gaps, instead of the mega-rich. I've signed the petition against these plans, will you? 38d.gs/cmog
Iβve just signed a 38 Degrees petition to say no to Β£20 fees for GP appointments - our health service must stay free to access! Will you add your name? 38d.gs/173h
Never mind. The tree has now been felled π
Hi @paulpowlesland.bsky.social
Quick question pls.
District council put TPO on tree in a conservation area last yr. Now, after an application by town council to fell it, they have given the green light three weeks before the planning consultation period has ended. Is this right? Seems a bit wrong
ββThe hypocrisy is staggeringβ: will swift bricks fall prey to government fears of Reform?
