Wait I genuinely thought that scene from Loot was made up for over-exaggerated comedic effect what do you mean it's based on a REAL MOMENT
ash ragin'
Metacritic rating of 91, lauded across the board, gets paid pittance.
Also not being funny but the GRAMMYs truly hate women, what do you mean the second highest rated album by any female artist in 2025 gets ZERO awards
I curse everything I'm so sorry

I know everything is terrible but the funniest thing I've seen on the internet this week is a man who was RAGING at the TFL for allowing Theragun adverts on the Tube.
He was confusing them with Theranos.
Itβs hard to imagine someone more universally enjoyed than Catherine OβHara where the opinions range from βI like her and her workβ to βI love her and her workβ and thatβs a pretty good legacy

Once again, transphobia is a hatred peddled by a tiny amount of people with massive influence.
86% of normal folk want the ponds to stay inclusive. 90% reject trans segregation.
AI use is such coworker slop core and I hate being one of the few people I know irl that refuses to use it and hates how normalised it is now.
To quote that Scottish TikTokker whatsername: whatever happened to just... having a think?
Just started doing new data analysis and I know I keep saying this, but: I really, really don't think people appreciate how much this moral panic was a deliberate and extremely expensive invention.
They can still tamper in elections, spread misinformation, allow for people (esp older people) to be scammed, etc etc etc. Nothing changes for them.
The social media owners will be celebrating that they don't have to undergo any sort of actual regulation or make any changes to their content or moderation AND they only have to lose their least valuable customers who don't have credit cards etc under their own name.
Social media bans for kids is a cynical way to allow governments to appear like they're regulating platforms, but they're actually only forcing these billionaires to lose customers from a base who don't have individual spending powers.
A screenshot from the Graham Linehan Facebook page, dated January 26, 2017. "Here's something to watch for: sub-par entertainers/hacks etc smelling that sweet right wing sucker money and making their move."
Nine years to the day since Graham Linehan foresaw his own fate.
A screenshot of WhatsApp: Ash: SebastiΓ‘n, I have one very pressing question. SebastiΓ‘n Di Martino: Let me know Ash: Are jaguar soft? SebastiΓ‘n Di Martino: They are very soft (two hearts on the answer)
Being a journalist is sick: I just contacted a pre-eminent jaguar conservationist in Argentine with a question that has been weighing on me for ages and he wrote back right away with an informed answer.
Those pieces of legislation were lazy plasters over a wound that should've been cleaned, dressed and stitched back up years ago.
And no, banning kids from social media nor asking for age verification isn't anywhere near decent regulation and actually does way more harm than good.
We are already decades behind regulating social media sites that have been around 20+ years. As soon as AI started becoming more accessible early last year I knew we would get this kind of propaganda, and sadly even worse, with zero being done about it. We simply cannot wait two more decades.
I'm sorry F1 got nominated for BEST PICTURE?!?!?

Oh amazing, thank you for letting me know!
can't submit due to the accidental fisherman behind me but hey, I can join in online anyway :)
Yes because we clearly have zero artists or an already established mural trail by artists in the city of Glasgow. Nor do we have a world famous art school or anything.
Disgusting behaviour by the council.
