Reckon we’ll actually go so heavily domestic? Whilst individually all those players would improve squad, would be disappointed not to tap into better value and potentially higher ceiling of European leagues. Our really top talents are all from overseas.

Fancy Miley as a 6 long term given how composed he is, not sure if Howe will trust him there yet though. Willock only played 69 mins across the 2 games this week so thought this would be a good opportunity for him (and opportunity to rest big Joe). Maybe Eddie will rotate a bit later in the week

Agree & hope we are able to move those on. To be clear don’t want us to sell Barnes just seemed a pragmatic approach - we definitely need to improve selling players while they still hold value

Shame as it would solve our RW issue to a certain extent. Given strength & depth at LW now would you consider cashing in on Barnes to fund a RW if possible (plus CB with unspent summer funds) - not many other saleable assets and difficult to see him cracking the starting 11
