Sure, sacrifice on a large part of Americans, but not the Epstein class.

Hubris and mendacity.

Imagine being entitled about being entitled. She's a real piece of work, yes, but djt's narcissism reaches a whole new stratospheric level.

The best part about writing a book is planning and researching. The worst part about writing a book is writing the book.

True. Russian & China especially are watching this very closely.

Yeah, same here. If they want to drink the kool-aid, I say bottoms up.

His expression is all of us.

He's certainly cavalier about the loss of other people's lives.

That's just it. He knows he's not gaining votes. He sees the polls. His base is not growing. The only way for the gop to win is to either to suppress the votes for democrats, and/or disrupt midterm elections by declaring a national emergency, based on disputed claims of foreign interference.

It implies to me, as laughable and outrageous as these people are, they're serious in their intent and should be taken seriously because they're dangerous.

They really do! Besides, we need to find some humour in this mess to keep our collective sanity. πŸ˜‰

Those 2 are a prime example of how unfettered power corrupts absolutely.

Well that's it... imho these are layers of mythic tales built up & added to over time from ancient civilizations - the flood myth for example is Mesopotamian, or older. The problem exists when people/orgs use religion to induce fear, by force & literal interpretations to suit their agenda for power.

There is so much ongoing, over the top, blatant corruption at the hands of djt and his enablers, that it will take decades to comprehend the breadth and depth of it all.

Organized Religion: A Tool for Ignorance, Power and Control How many murders, wars, acts of terror or any number of other heinous acts have been committed in human history in the name of religion?

Organized religion is a tool for controlling the masses. Nothing has confirmed this more to me than history itself, & the rise of djt & his fanatical base.

I'd like to believe they've lost their way, as people do, but if one looks at history, it tells me this is who they really are.

Totally agree, but there's this little shallow part of me that loves to see what people are wearing on the red carpet. Shhh.

Yes, djt's first term was a lesson in pushing democratic guardrails to see what he could get away with.
His second term is based on what learned from his first. He & his cronies figured a way around any guard rails, with the help of the supreme court, & a congress who silently obliges him.
