Coming to the aid of your ally. You’d think that on this topic if no other, Tony Blair would have the self -awareness to keep his opinions to himself. Apparently not

Entirely my experience too - much easier to get appointments for me and mine

I'll give it a bit longer, but I think I'm gonna sack off the private health (it's was only ever for getting fast examinations)

I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.

The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.

Greater Manchester Police has consistently met government targets on hiring - keeping our community safe. 🌇 👮

But it faces significant funding issues which need resolving.

I've raised GMP funding with the Home Secretary. Adequate funding is needed to allow our Force to do their vital work.

Reform’s Laila Cunningham is stoking hatred by saying women in burkas have something to hide.

This is yet more dangerous rhetoric from Reform. We’re better than this and she knows it.

Maybe she's just projecting? Given her boss hid his extra earnings – it’s no wonder she’s so quick to distrust.

“Caring for myself is not self indulgence, it is self preservation.” Audre Lorde.

Looking after ourselves can be one small choice. Sometimes it’s choosing ourselves a little sooner.

After cycle infrastructure improvements were introduced, cycle counters were installed on Oxford Road, Manchester that went up to 500,000 trips a year. That was fine for a few years, but then they had to recalibrate it to 750,000. Now cycling figures have blown past that, and they need 1,000,000.

In Berlin, I took an evening class on fascism – and found out how to stop the AfD | Tania Roettger With the far-right party ahead in the polls, I discovered that a novel set during the rise of the Nazis provides a timely warning, says journalist Tania Roettger

"We shouldn’t stop believing in the good in people, but we should also heed the warnings of history. What The Effingers teaches us is not to underestimate the danger of the fascist menace, and to fight on all fronts against it"
