And .500! ♥️💙
I’m the opposite with Clippers as my hometown & Knicks as my adopted. I’m glad we made it to .500 at last. I was nervous coming in and I’m just as nervous for Wednesday. Glad you and I got to cheer for our favorite teams as they faced off today - perhaps with luck conf. finals for both, yes? 🍀🤞
My doctor friend says it’s worth it when we have had conversations. Some of his patients felt better in just a day or two compared to the 5-7 of those who didn’t. If I had flu B also, I’d definitely request treatment for one or both. (Tamiflu)
I throw on a stitch marker every 10 or so when it’s a bigger cast on than 64-72 stitches for a sock.
I haven’t purchased designs lately (but kits) yet I would rather support on Ko-Fi than Etsy these days because I’d rather get more money in the hands of an artist. If you go with them, be specific, “not AI generated” in your description to boost sales.
I am not working on this piece, but saw your post. I’m happy you’re a designer and an artist. I would rather have imperfection, honesty and connection than AI designs. So sending some gratitude your way for your creations and authenticity!
Thank you.
A photograph of a #handknit sock in a foot. The toe is oriented to the top of the photo and the ankle is showing. This #knit sock is in shades of patina green on a winter wonderland blue base. The beads are multicolored green and blue, with pairs in each section of the rays, which extend from the midline and diagonally to the outside on a downward trajectory. #knitsky #knitting 🧶 pattern and yarn info in previous photo that is in this thread. Thank you.
I’ve made some progress as the gusset is now completed for this one. Next will be the heel flap and it’s a rather short cuff so I look forward to finishing so I can cast on the second sock of the pair. 🧶 #sockmadness
Excellent - let’s do this! Have fun!
I do the same! I am glad to know that it seems to be the best way for others too. Thank you!
I’m impressed with your yarn management skills as you knit these two at a time! Do you butterfly the strands or use bobbins?
I felt Like Isaiah really gave it all in every minute he played. Such a treat to watch him and all of our Clippers. Really need to keep focus as Knicks are going to really be on the prowl for a W. I’d love to see us get to .500 (or better, but one game at a time).

Keep an eye on & support Niello’s Senate Bill-1197, if passed, it would eliminate the time change across California only. As of March 4, the bill has been introduced and referred to the Committee on Energy, Utilities and Communications.
Watching Deena Kastor as she comments on the LA Marathon and every sentence is so inspiring . She’s right that we all have our own journey. It’s great to have community along that journey towards one’s goals and through one’s challenges.
I’d definitely bring my knitting along. I would also plan the meals to give a little relief. Hope your ankle heals quickly.
Not forgotten—I was going to say this, but saw your comment first!
I especially feel that way if I forget my reading glasses.
I love jewel tones too!
Currently obsessed with sea glass colors, light blue and patina green especially (and less so the royal blue or amber or clear).
Thank you - discipline. 😀
In my head it’s determination instead.
I’m sorry for your loss.
A photograph of a single sock that is being knit on metal double pointed needles. The sock is oriented with the toe down and the needles at the top of the photograph. The colors are a pale wonderland heather blue yarn with a patina green overlay of yarn and the green yarn has mixed blue and green seed beads interspersed in a ray pattern. The beads begin in the middle and expand outward on an upward diagonal. #knitsky #knitting The #yarn is Knitpicks stroll and the seed beads are size 8/0. The pattern is written by Carolyn Lisle.
These are my round one #sockmadness Quasar socks . Yarn management is the biggest issue with so many strands, but it’s lovely to #knit. I wanted to use sea glass colors and have placed the beads on in random order after stringing them on to superfloss. 🧶
I try to let others know it’s okay to rest and it’s okay to let some things go. And sometimes I can pick up the slack in those instances, and sometimes I cannot. But it’s going to be okay to prioritize rest. I want to support as best I can to help others learn and respect their body’s limits.
I try to get the physical copies when I can—often two of us in our household will read the same book before it is returned.
I avoid them too. Was sad that Libby adopted AI as a feature for book recommendations too. I don’t use it.
But do get on the waitlist—it helps them know there is a demand so they may buy more copies.
That makes me a bit sad. California libraries are free to any resident. We have city ones that require a fee, but I think that it’s worth it to support the libraries & we are fortunate to be able to do that. I save a lot of money using their resources so we make donations to help with their programs
I miss Zu.
What a thoughtful gift that is sure to be treasured!
Looks great! Glad you’ll be participating as a cheerleader. It will be so much fun.
