It’s been a lingering thought in my mind for about 6 months now, and I’m finally going through with it.
Zelda speedruns have always just been something I know I can do and I’m excited to see where it takes me again.
Glad you enjoyed the TwitchCon race!! JSR and I had a blast!
I do have plans for each month to change up games and derust/learn them.
I plan on doing a voting process each month to determine what my community wants to see the next month.
On the list of things to learn, I want to learn both Oracle games.
And I have a plan of action that I'm excited to do.
I'm excited to get back into Zelda speedruns, because I do feel like they shaped the kind of runner I am today. And why derust my favorite run of them all?
I will be pushing for a 74 starting March 1st, and possibly even a 73 in the game. So if you're wanting Zelda 2, then you know where to find it
2 years ago, I made a big decision to swap from Zelda to RPG speedrunning (With the exception of Echoes of Wisdom). I thoroughly enjoyed it as it gave me more time to interact with chat, and have breaks during runs.
On Sunday, March 1st, we're coming back to Zelda! Starting with.... Zelda 2!

Every single time I think I’m getting better at dk64randomizer.com, the game reminds me that I’m only playing it to get bullied. Last night Rigby and I had a super convoluted path to key 1 and it was on a check that both of us completely forgot existed and required these things.

In your opinion, what do you think an av famicom with the rgb mod would cost?
And if you have suggestions on where to get an NES to Famicom adapter as well?
I think a top loader is probably the better option. I was looking at av famicoms, but searching for one that's already modded is a nightmare lol. I'd like to have the expansion audio support just mainly because I run a couple games that are the JP versions, so having that would be nice.
One more question for my tech followers. I'm also looking for an RGB modded NES as well. It's one of the main consoles I play on, so a clear picture is much needed there.
If you have any leads on just outright buying an RGB modded console (preferably with the expansion audio chip!)
Unfortunately my hands aren't steady enough for me to feel confident with doing the mod myself.
