Critical Breakdown by Ultramagnetic MCs

This will be right up there
Loved it. Can see me playing it a lot
Of The Earth by Shabaka
First listen and this is really good
Iβve got loads of work to do otherwise Iβd be spending the day on this.
This would be a cool place to live though
Close but not quite

34. Half Man Half Biscuit - Old Age Killed My Teenage Bride (2014) non-single
βAnd yesterday at a hundred and one
She had a shower, cup of tea and a scone
And just as βCash In The Atticβ came onβ
An ode to the joys of a long, peaceful life, a song only Nigel Blackwell could write.
Wasnβt on my initial list but chanced upon it while looking for something else. Hadnβt played it in years but it sounds great
I love the singing weekends like nothing else, but Iβve remembered why I usually take the Monday off after. The late nights, drinking, and the drive to and from Northumberland have wiped me out. Todayβs going to be a struggle.

33. Azealia Banks ft. Lazy Jay - 212 (2011)
Still sounds as ridiculously brilliant as the
day it came out
Yeah, yer man at @iheartnoise.bandcamp.com has been banging the drum on this. And itβs very much in my bit of the venn π
Thought it might π

32. First Aid Kit - Emmylou (2012)
More sisters with wonderful harmonies. Compulsory clip of them singing to the actual Emmylou
Pretty much as it says. Picking 5 favourite debut albums from 1985-89 (doing a different 5 year block every few weeks). Voting in a couple of weeks so just throwing out suggestions at the moment
Oh thanks a bunch π€’

31. The Unthanks - Mount The Air (live proms version 2018)
BONUS - 11 Points
Off to spend the weekend with this lovely bunch again so seems a good day to pick it. Was a single, but this version is the one.
The last few minutes ending with the clog dancing is as sublime as music gets
βI was more than usual pissed
Was first ashamed at bruise on wrist
Was then annoyed at skin patch on backβ
#FallFriday
Spurs imploding like this is restoring my faith in football
I think thatβs harsh, you need your 6/7 to contribute too. Biggest problem (apart from the size of the chase) was the early wickets though
Jacob Bethell, what a talent
Easier said than done when Bumrahβs got 2. Theyβve done better than expected but as you say too many regular wickets
Wouldnβt we all π
This pair making it interesting
Bethell stays in for another few overs and it could be interesting
Or not
Decent time for Buttler to come into form
Somehow I donβt think england are chasing this down
Not just for Fridays
I cannot wait for the insights on this! He's going to:
1. Sample some local street food.
2. Ride a train.
3. Visit a temple.
4. Not mention the pogroms that the serving Prime Minister presided over.
5. Smile at some elephants.
6. Top up his kids' private school fees.
7. Say "India is changing".
