“Should have run a better campaign” also only remotely works if we assume that Trump ran a better campaign than her.

First world problems right there.
I see they’re still trying to downplay the stupidity of the 77 million (not 78 million) people who voted for Trump.
The only thing I can really think of for why Ryan Grim is so desperate for Graham Platner is, I believe, the same reason why there was a massive orgiastic rush of anger about critiquing Joe Rogan when he said one nice thing about Bernie. They want there to be a right-wing-white-male to left pipeline
Harris wasn’t bombing hospitals in Gaza, so there’s that.
No. I mean policies like these

I guess these guys are delusional then.

Neither Biden nor Harris ran on “neoliberal slop.”
She ran on policy too. Voters and the media didn’t care.
White folks are salty about Kamala Harris saying she predicted all this at Rev. Jesse Jackson’s funeral.
My response? Fuck y’all and stay mad.
You should’ve listened.
They can’t and they don’t care
Janet Mills is absolutely the superior choice. Unfortunately, prior to when Platner was outed for the tattoo, a fair amount of “progressives” on Bluesky were badmouthing her. I distinctly remember that.
For God’s sake, a major part of Platner’s platform has been him going after the Democratic Party. The vast majority of Democrats do not want him.
Platner was endorsed by Bernie Sanders. He was touted as a progressive hero who Maine needed, while Janet Mills was smeared as a “corporate Dem” who was too old to run. The people who endorse him are the same people who rant about “the DNC” and think Bernie should’ve been President.
I'm the only Democrat who has won a statewide race — not once, but twice — in the last 20 years.
Maine people know me. They know that unlike Susan Collins, I've got the backbone to stand up to the President, and that I'll always put them first.
Please, FFS, don’t let Graham Platner win the primary. I’m not from Maine, but by God would he be a disastrous choice.
Fuck Bernie Sanders for endorsing that maniac.
Did you know that Graham Platner was Ryan Grim's bartender back at the Tune Inn on Capitol Hill, a fact that Ryan Grim acknowledged on X?
>unconditional surrender
he's gonna taco any time now folks
Honestly, was using the word “pussy” ever considered a “cancelable” offense at any point?
The Bluesky left were the ones who were touting this guy’s horn in the first place. Liberals don’t want him.
Let’s talk about Graham Platner’s Big Lie, finally. In 2009, at the height of the Gulf War, the Marines barred him from active duty. Platner claims it was his forearm tattoos. But his one forbidden tattoo was the Nazi symbol on his chest. He knew - and he left the Marines rather than give it up. 1/
Congrats to the Graham Platner supporters for giving Republicans the opportunity to pretend they have a problem with Nazis.
Let’s be real, he and his supporters would take that as a compliment.
Trump managed to start a war and a recession at the same time
No way in hell they got permission for any of these, although I’m sure David Ellison doesn’t mind Top Gun and Transformers being used for this.
This is both depraved and embarrassing.
I’m running out of ways to say “This wouldn’t have happened if Kamala Harris was President”
The people who said that are desperate for Trump to win, no matter how much they deny it.
Its really funny to think about the fact that two weeks ago SCOTUS spiked tariffs & a range of ppl who apparently were born the day before were like "well clearly whatll happen now is Trump will use this to save face & stop pushing tariffs. The economy will benefit & itll save Rs in the midterms"
I think the craziest part about Trump’s victory in 2024 is this: how the hell did so many Americans not have Trump fatigue at that point? The senile nonce had been an inescapable part of the news for nine years at that point. How were people not sick of him?
