Thank you, Jill! โค๏ธ
I will be there with my adorable tiny people art- comics, anthologies, and more, all set in Louisiana!
Join me Saturday, March 14th in Houma, #Louisiana ,for the first ever Shirefest at the Terrebonne Parish Public Library! If you love Lord of the Rings, dream of second breakfast, or dress like a hobbit, you'll find your people along the banks of Little Bayou Black.
Beginning #artists! Save your money and avoid this budget paint

It isssss.
When we're too busy playing Pick Me, everyone loses.
It becomes a pissing contest over whose teaching the class, who can out talk/talk louder than the other, and who is actually an artist/art teacher and surprise, I decline to compete.
I have been getting mean girled by other ADHD women lately, and hoo, I do not like how that feels.
Rough day at work today, I'm going to self soothe by sharing some of my favorite illustrations.
Hey #Louisiana nerds! March 14th is the first ever Shirefest, a free one day hobbit inspired pop up event hosted by the Terrebonne Parish Public Library! If you love the Ren Fest and are lookin for a lil taste of fantasy, make sure you swing by next Saturday!
Currently really enjoying Alix E Harrow's The Everlasting
Im teaching a class where students create illuminated letters & we dye sublimate them on tote bags. I did a B a couple years ago, so i went w a fleur de lis I am always all about Louisiana irises, so that's the motif here, and one of their pollinators are solitary bees like the native wood bee.
I generally have written fluffy cottagecore nature leaning all ages soft fantasy, but in an alternate universe I'd like to write adult romantasy-soft fantasy that still leans nature heavy. So not all that different, but an entirely different way of presenting the material.
I don't know when this will go public but I thought yall might be interested in this sooner rather than later.
I purchased an AI-generated 'how to art' book to compare against my teaching exp & exp writing tutos & to compare against self & indie published books to show what to look out for.
Messing around with color correcting this one.

Aww thank you, Mandy!
The lineart for this illustration was created for my coloring Book Curious Little Things.
I recently finished this watercolor illustration of a tiny girl napping among sewing notions.
I used to love sewing, and sewed for two decades, but gave it up because my cat, Bowie, will eat anything off the floor and I couldn't risk needles. I still love drawing and painting fiber arts though.
I'd be happy if i just had the option to hide those sort of replies from my view!
The world is rough right now, I get it. Please don't take it out on me, I am not your foe, I'm just some ADHD woman with social anxiety who reviews art supplies for fun and watches otome games.
It's always on a specific couple videos, one of which I did a FOLLOW UP where I retested the product and amended my opinion, but people don't check the cards or description before laying into me.
It's not yall doing it so I feel safe saying I dislike how some folks act in my YT comments here.
People being jerks prevents me from checking the comments to answer people's real questions or address real concerns. We can disagree without me getting torn a new one.
I do not love how shitty people can get towards me in the comments of my YT videos.
I don't think it's cool to take your bad day out on the weird lady you dislike who reviews art supplies in a way you hate. Just stop watching. DNF.
Don't tempt me I will
I have seriously considered this and actually have fabric with my art on it BUT! the person I worked with for the fabric still owes me yardage and I don't have enough for a dress. Maybe a Nattosoup.com sash to wear on top of other outfits ๐ค
Basically if you like how I dress you might also enjoy looking at my art.
Kinda tacky question but
I get a lot of compliments on my clothing-usually pieces I've purchased from other artists. I'm so happy to share their names and websites but!
The way I dress & the way I draw mirror each other. How do I use this to point folks to my art in a tactful way, esp at cons?
