A lot of “orthodox” Catholics talk about chastity in ways that are actually contradicted in the Catechism. If we actually read the text, we might find that the Church has a lot of encouragement and hope for LGBTQ+ people in her teachings on chastity.

it’s a very uniquely impressive movie because it all retains such a scrappy low budget vibe but there are so many little tricks and bits of filmmaking magic clearly going on under the hood that genuinely had my brain buzzing thinking “wait how did they do that” for full scenes at a time
