I miss three years ago when I only ever posted about OFMD and how pretty Mona is.

Does it matter? The Oceti Sakowin is the third largest tribe in the US, there are six reservations within 50 miles of I-90 (north and south), and large Native populations live in Rapid City, Sioux Falls, and Pierre. There is zero excuse to not be aware.

There aren’t enough words to articulate my rage.

Unfortunately, ICE has a South Dakota office, meaning these ICE officers likely live locally. Whether they were born here, or they come from somewhere else, they shouldn’t take the job without a basic understanding of the area. The hypocrisy is it’s one of the talking points used against immigrants.
