That's Professor Catherine Pope, rather than me!
"Frank Ramsey: A Sheer Excess of Powers" by @cherylmisak.bsky.social is a phenomenal biography. What a man! And what a book!

Joining the London Writers' Salon is the best decision of my year so far. Having that sense of community & structure has helped achieve a sustainable writing momentum. Just finished reading Empire of Normality by @drrobertchapman.bsky.social What an utterly brilliant book.
Goodness, The Price of Life by @jennykleeman.bsky.social is like a Wilkie Collins novel. A cracking read.
Thank you to @alittleroad.bsky.social for organising an excellent session on OA publishing yesterday. It was really informative.
A sword during the viva could make things lively! I'm writing a book about viva preparation. Will now add a section on weaponry. Thank you for sharing!
My book of the month so far, by a country mile, is 'Did Ye Hear Mammy Died?' by @seamas.bsky.social Bloody brilliant.
