Few notes
The Room Next Door expands again next week
Far more releases than last week, Den Of Thieves, Timestalker and Birdeater are 2025 films while the rest are 2024 films. So those of you who are still cleaning up 2024 releases this is a big week for you.
Out Today January 10th 2025!
Den Of Thieves 2: Pantera (Theaters)
Better Man (Theaters)
The Last Show Girl (Theaters)
Hard Truths (Theaters)
The Room Next Door (Theaters)
Timestalker (Theaters)
Get Away (Shudder)
Birdeater (VOD)
Really captures the spirit of what Wallace & Gromit is all about! So much fun!
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl is a delight from start to finish, you know exactly what you are getting and thatβs not a bad thing at all. The stop motion animation is excellent as always, the characters are fun, Feathers McGrawβs return is so much fun.
Side note for those trying to complete their 2024 movie watches, Wallace & Gromit is considered a 2024 film since it did have a limited release right before the year ended.
Out Today January 3rd 2025 (letβs go first out today post of the year!!)
The Damned (Theaters)
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl (Netflix)
The Monster Beneath Us (VOD)
Not a whole lot this week but itβs understandable since itβs the first week of the year!

Gladiator II and Nightbitch

I think what makes A Complete Unknown work so well is the cast sings incredibly well and each of their screen presence from Chalamet to Norton to Barbaro is just captivating and brings you in.
Really fantastic stuff here.
As far as music biopics go, A Complete Unknown is one of the excellent ones. Timothee Chalamet once again knocks it out of the park and really captures Bob Dylanβs spirit. Edward Norton and Monica Barbaro are both excellent as well. Beautifully sung and very well told!
Merry Christmas everyone! Have a safe one β€οΈππ
Itβs doing a lot of what the first film did but not as interesting, way too many villains that are very one note and doesnβt focus on actually giving any of these characters depth. Which is shame because I do think these characters could be great with better writing.
Very dull.
Gladiator II just kind of exists as the sequel that really doesnβt do anything better than its predecessor. Thereβs some solid performances here, Denzel Washington being the standout and I kind love Joseph Quinn and Fred Hechinger acting bizarre. But a lot of this movie is dull
