I'm hit.
I'm hit.
Surgery is 12/31. I expect to be in bed for week at minimum during recovery.
Just want to gently throw it out there that if you are feeling overwhelmed right now itβs ok to log off. Everyone is emoting deeply onto the timeline and youβre not obligated to witness it in an endless scroll. Take a break if you need to. Protect your heart. β€οΈ
Happy Birthday!!! πππ

Miss Major, one of the mothers of the trans liberation movement, has been in the hospital for 10 days with sepsis and a blood clot. She has looked out for us for generations, now itβs time to look out for her. Donate if you can: fundly.com/missmajor
It works immediately. Opted out, refreshed my profile, and it was gone.

Thereβs food in the markets in Gaza and more merchants are taking electronic payments so itβs a good day to donate

One thing you can do Right Now is be extremely vocal when you have librarians stocking inclusive collections. Call and tell them how happy you are, show up to board meetings. Bc the other side is *always* complaining and doing it in an organized way.
also you can donate to Lavonnia Moore here:
Woman Standing in Protest Before Flames A fearless Kenyan woman (Hanifa) in a black abaya stands tall with her arms raised in an X symbol of resistance, as thick black smoke and flames erupt from a burning barricade behind her during the June 25, 2025 protests. Her face is painted with the national flag, and her eyes radiate defiance against state violence, economic oppression, and police brutality. The haunting backdrop of Nairobiβs chaos marks the one-year anniversary of the deadly finance bill uprising. #KenyaProtests #DefendDemocracy #JusticeForOjwang #625NeverForget #AfricanResistance
Protesters occupy Nairobiβs city streets and sit defiantly under a crowded highway overpass as part of Kenya's June 25, 2025 demonstrations. Blue plastic chairs dot the roadβan eerie calm amid rising tensions with police forces nearby. Above them, more demonstrators line the bridge, silently watching, demanding accountability, justice, and reform. #OccupyNairobi #KenyaRising #EndPoliceBrutality #JusticeFor625
A powerful aerial view of thousands of young Kenyans marching down a tree-lined road in Nairobi on June 25, 2025, marking the anniversary of deadly anti-tax protests. United in silence and defiance, the crowd demands justice for police brutality victims like Albert Ojwang. The peaceful protest symbolizes a youth-led revolution against government oppression, economic injustice, and state violence. #KenyaProtests #YouthUprising #JusticeForOjwang #254NeverForget
Kenyan youth with Kenyan flag standing on top of road signal post during the Genz remembrance protest against corruption, police brutality and high taxes as Iran and Israel tension escalate, the Kenyan youth are on the streets to remember those brutally killed the same time last year under hashtag #wantam Today is today #naamdamano and so on they showed up in large numbers to match for their fallen comrades
π°πͺ Whatβs happening in Kenya isnβt just protest!
Itβs a cry for dignity.
A teacher dies in police custody. A year since 60+ were killed for opposing unjust taxes.
Today, youth were back in the streets mourning, marching, risking bullets for a future worth living.

screencap of an email that reads: Hello, Weβre excited to share that youβll get early access to Smart Disputes starting July 2025. Weβll automatically enable this new product on your account DeviledDobes. Smart Disputes will help you save time managing eligible disputes on card transactions and recover revenue - with no action needed from you. Benefits to you Managing disputes is time-consuming, and it can be difficult to know what evidence to submit. Smart Disputes helps: Save time: We automatically compile evidence and respond to disputes, so you donβt have to spend time fighting them. Recover revenue: Our evidence is compiled using AI trained on real dispute data from the more than $1 trillion in payments Stripe processes annually, to help you recover disputed revenue. Get started with no integration required: Unlike other automated dispute management solutions, Smart Disputes is built into Stripe so thereβs no extra work to integrate.
Part 2 of the email which reads: How it works Weβll notify you when you receive an eligible dispute on a card transaction and automatically compile evidence for you. If you donβt take action before the dispute deadline, Stripe will automatically submit this evidence on your behalf. You can always choose to accept the dispute or counter it manually before the deadline. Only pay when you win If you win a dispute using Smart Disputes, youβll pay 30% of the recovered disputed amount. If you donβt win, then no fees for Smart Disputes apply. The fee for receiving a dispute still applies to all disputes, including ones countered with Smart Disputes. How to turn off auto-submission If you donβt want to use Smart Disputes, then you can turn off auto-submission in your Dashboard. If you opt out, you can still manually submit evidence generated by Smart Disputes once it is enabled for your account. Questions? Please visit our support siteβweβre here to help.
Artists and small business owners who use Stripe- there's a new "AI" feature for payment disputes, it's auto-enabled and will charge a 30% fee if you win a dispute using it. You might want to turn this off. I personally don't trust a slop feature to handle disputes for me either.
But it sounds delicious!
