The thing that pokopia does incredibly well is having you do quests for the NPCs and have it be rewarding in a meaningful way that advances the world building. Theres a progression that feels good. I said for years that animal crossing needs this. Makes it feel like its worth doing and not aimless.

Original Xbox emulation on Android is here and it’s already delivering that perfect mix of “wow this works” and “wow this is held together by hope.” It’s early, it’s messy, and it’s hilarious watching OG Xbox games boot on a phone at all.

Check this out! I stumbled across this a few months ago and thought it looked cool so I ordered one. Its an open source 8-bit little handheld. Comes with some games installed but what im interested in is maybe trying to make a little game with my son. A little project for us to do together
