Thank you, Joy. π
Happy Friday!
Bright, hazy image of many, many seagulls gathered at the shore, one distinct gull in foreground, taking a step.

Painting in center, with fantastic architectural detail on ceiling above. Painting is meant to embody the school - Yale - with central figure, a woman in white gown, blue/gold cape, in school colors, holding school motto, surrounded by allegorical figures of Light, Truth, Science, Labor, Music, Divinity, Literature, and the Arts. Several men on right, with one woman's face visible, leaned in. Two women on left, one naked, the other in pink/white gown and halo. Men in various baggy garb. Not sure which one the naked woman symbolizes. Always with the naked woman among men in baggy clothing in old paintings... and not that old. Painted by Eugene Savage, 1932.
'Alma Mater.'
Sterling Memorial Library, Yale University.
Loved the architecture surrounding! Not so sure about the painting...

She looks like she's actually thinking: "No, *I'm* the domestic terrorist! Me! Not those sad, decent people. Me!"
Ahhh, one of the loveliest flowers... πππ
Of course, the media would say/manufacture that we were in one, anyway.

Tell your best tales
Our ears are open
Whatβs in a story? Everything under the sun and moon. When we sit with the fire, words waft like ashes rising from flames joining the stars above. They are our own personal records of time here on earth. How many times have you heard a story and said that happened to me too or I feel those words. We need to honor ourselves and the roots where we came from because our voices are paths to understanding and having empathy for each otherβs journey on this planet. We all go through the same things, just at different times. I hope this simple idea of sitting around a campfire and sharing stories ignites friendships, experiences and growth of our communities, but most of all, knowing we are not alone as long as the fire glows and we take a seat. Always be safe and happy, see you in March ~ βif the creek donβt riseβ p m gibbs

Campfire day! Sounds like a fun adventure! π¨βπ¨π
They really are! Great shot.
They are coming into our valley right now, love seeing the long lines of turkey vultures coming in each almost-spring...
Was so happy to find this tree while walking in a new-to-me area!
Tree branches full of cup-shape magenta and white flowers, no leaves. These trees bloom in early spring.
Close up of a tulip magnolia flower, thick petals, white on inside, magenta on outside, cup shape, nicely fragrant.
An old Tulip magnolia tree blooming like mad.

Ha! - but I do like adding the original books and author's names whenever a movie made from a book is promoted...
The book, where the film came from, written by Robert Harris - was excellent.
Thank you so much, Jon. I miss the more-frequent chatting, too. Hope all is well your way!
Thank you, was a surprise visit I was happy to capture!
Husky and collie! Sounds beautiful, and no doubt fun to watch at a run. I never grow tired of watching ours, especially the less-samoyed type brother who also lives to run!
Thank you! Was a lovely evening up on the mountain.
I really like seeing them, they're beautiful! Happy to share a pic, anyway. π
Meanwhile, I grew up back East and really miss seeing cardinals. And fireflies.
Fully agree!
Photo taken on a mountaintop looking across at ridges of more mountains receding into the distance as the full moon rises.

Oh thank you, I'm in good health, but my oldest friend died a couple weeks ago, too many other sadnesses this winter...
does remind me to be grateful for the good things, though! πΈ
Hope all is well your way. π
Good luck! ππ±π±π±
Oh no!
