The first panel shows Engineer hugging his head in his hands and shaking while Huntress looks up at the crates. The elder lemurian has moved on. The second panel shows Huntress looking at Engineer with a look of concern, who is still frozen in place. The last panel shows Engineer reaching out for the mushrooms and Huntress handing them to him with a smug expression. Engineer mutters, "...Oh my god, fine. Hand it over."

Establishing shot of Abyssal Depths in Risk of Rain 2. Lemurians are seen searching around for something. There's a pile of chests blocking off the entrance of the cave where an Engineer and Huntress are hiding. Engineer says "This sucks." Huntress replies, holding up a pair of white and purple mushrooms. "You know, you coul have something to eat if you just said the magic wo--". She's cut off by Engineer yelling "NO!!", saying "I'm not having one of those f*cking mushrooms!"
Huntress continues to tease Engineer. "C'mon, they're harmless. Inf act, they're better than harmless, they're--" Engineer cuts her off again. "Don't even start." He wags a finger at her. "And we don't even know that. Cut to a panel of Engineer and Huntress wading through waist deep snow. Engineer is looking back at Huntress to see her passed out in the snow, surrounded by mushroom spores. Narration from Engineer says "Remember how you got an infection after you first tried them!?" Huntress answers with, "Common head cold."
Engineer stands up as he says "My point being, those things probably changed your digestive tract so you could eat them, or some weird sh*t like that." He throws his hands up in the air. "I'm not stooping to your level!" Huntress waves the mushrooms around. "Well, you're more than welcome to ride your high road with THEM, Mr. Picky Eater." She turns to him, holding the mushrooms up to her head with half-lidded optics. "Or, you could stay in the safety of this little cave, and share a snack with me." Engineer looks hesitantly down at her. "I... I'd rather--"
From behind the crates an elder lemurian is visible. A giant "ROAR" onomatopoeia takes up a portion of the screen as Engineer and Huntress are shocked by its sudden appearance.
