Honestly, since RE4 on GCN I’ve not done the higher difficulties cos they seem kinda crazy cruel compared to classic Resi (the tales I’ve heard do RE3make on inferno …)

The detonator scavenger hunt just wasn't interesting enough to drag out so long. Should have been massively shorter (maybe coulda taken place in the cut locations from RE3make to have some visual interest )

It’s the sending in solo part that bugs me, just create a seasoned field agent to accompany her, he could be the one to get stung by Gideon and turn instead of the cop

Honestly my only big issues were I felt the detonator section dragged and I missed the frequent character swapping but ppl claiming the second half as bad were crazy.

The Leon stuff in Rhodes Hill works cos his sections are so short. I was so drained with all the time spent with him in the second half when Grace is the far better characterer
It’s a good logo and the umbrella corporation is an evil villain org, both are true. I’d worry only if ppl sided with umbrella and defended their actions. It’s like when ppl say The Joker is a cool villain it doesn’t mean they endorse his views.

It’s a wonderful game. Only negative is the detonator scavenger hunt is a bit too long but they nailed the other segments.
Heck I think they made the first person mode work when I didn’t fully feel it in what I’ve played of re7&8.
Awesome it such a good game. I would also recommend playing the original RE2 if it’s available for you cos it does excels in different aspects to the remake
Yeah a good remaster with a CRT simulation (not just a filter) and maybe QOL features like Aya beibh able to run faster than a snail would be good (PE1 never came out in Europe so only seen ppl play it on youtube and she moves so slow even at full sprint)
The problem is DC1 is prob too hardcore for many modern gamers raised on games designed never to make them frustrated for more than 30 seconds

Never played through more than the beginning of either but they are both well regarded and Onimusha 3 has one of the top5 hype CGI openings of all time

It's crazy they think things are salvageable by just releasing a new console without building up good will first (also cos of covid and the economy the gen had a prolonged beginning and is only just getting going so ditching early seems misguided)
