Yeah, it would be a whole different story if your livelihood depended on the game’s success. Either way, you’ll learn something at every step, and you’ll know a lot more when you start the next project. As long as you still love the game, it’s worth it. And unfinished game would haunt me forever 😄
Finish the demo and see how it goes 😊 I know that you've had some successful demo days already, so I believe it's not too much of work left for proper demo. At least you'll get feedback on gameplay that way and reach some nice milestone

Most doesn't! They usually have their own apply form deep in their own sites. I know that howtomarketagame.com newsletter keeps you quite well up to date, but it still doesn't show every possible fest. Like Finnish Games Week was so niche that it wasn't there, but still made it to the front page!
