π Starting a new #postdoc project funded by the The Ella and Georg Ehrnrooth Foundation, exploring how young Hungarians define "news" when facing both global platform chaos AND a state-aligned media system. What counts as news anymore? What should journalism actually do?

Thanks for this!
This is so interesting!
Right, there's something deeper about whether AI systems should persuade humans at all, or just inform? The "willingness" framing might miss that some AI persuasion could be fundamentally misaligned with human autonomy, regardless of topic.

This looks fascinating. @paologerbaudo.bsky.social is constantly a few years ahead of the curve in thinking creatively about the intersection of politics, media and culture - so he is one of those authors I always take seriously and drop everything to read!
This is so important! Can't wait to see the insights. Signed up!
Loved this!
