I havenโt formed my opinion yet but I like this take. To be honest the anticipation for her work these days makes it impossible to live up to at first listen, it was the same with everyone jumping on TTPD 1 hour after release.
I suspect most people will have formed their opinions already, possibly only on the back of reading the Petridis review this morning, but this is an excellently written counterpoint. Not that I fully agree with everything but itโs well worth your consideration.
The BOGOF Ban is a nauseating class-targeted initiative, and patronising as Hell. If you really care about the diet of the poor, then legislate to reduce the price of healthier foods, rather than basically doubling the price of their (our) few affordable pleasures in life. Get to absolute fuck.
