I use Gemini to assist with routine tasks - I find it helpful to have it make a list of the parts and tools I'm going to need for a project, for example. It's good at that. I have the persistent urge to say "please" and "thank you" which I indulge because I want to remain that kind of person.
I often wonder how observing AIs act credibly human in a given context will actually work to alter our perceptions of other humans. If we have to continually train ourselves to consider that this human sounding thing does not feel emotion or deserve empathy, how does that change us?
