Yeah it’s definitely not clear, I didn’t think it had tipping either until someone “boosted” me. Not sure why they don’t just call it tipping, but maybe it’s a legal thing that they can’t call it a tip because they get a cut.
Is it against VGEN TOS to encourage tips off site I wonder? Like if you were to put in your description “please don’t boost, tip via Kofi instead” would you get on the naughty list? Lol
I really love VGen but man if there's one thing I wish they'd work on it's the complete lack of clarity over boosts
The fact that so many people have no idea you can tip artists on VGen or if the money left via a boost even goes to them is very frustrating (answer: it does, but they take a 5% cut)
My current issue is I built the wrong structure where I wanted my house to go and now I’m stuck trying to get bulldoze lol
