Promoting any kind of creativity using genAI text or imagery is like promoting healthy eating with photos of plastic fruit and veg.
I’ve seen lots of posts promoting the National Year of Reading which is brilliant!
Not so brilliant is that there are some using AI-generated imagery which is disheartening.
Illustrations are really important when it comes to children wanting to pick up books. Let’s keep the industry thriving!

The true Hogwarts Legacy is 70k pounds donated to the people who took the legal definition of 'woman' to the UK supreme court and got a ruling that excluded trans women.
You can't 'separate the artist from the art' when the proceeds of the art are used to attack trans people.
Yes, because we shouldn’t ever progress as a society should we?
The UK Supreme Court really thinks it's done something. Trans people aren't going anywhere no matter how many courts they buy out. This ruling will be a shameful mark on the UK for decades to come and is the real legacy of JK Rowling.
I was a huge fan of HP growing up, and into adulthood. That is passed, that is purged. I will not line the pockets of hateful people who do harm to vulnerable communities. I stand with the trans community and am deeply saddened by today’s ruling. Trans women are women. Trans men are men. 🏳️⚧️
