When the premier verbalizes yet another bad idea, we can reject it based on our expertise. Our qualification as expert is simply that we are not insane.

Similar to a Monty Python skit about a Welsh form of self defense - to attack not just before they attack you but before they even think of attacking you.

My point is that median income in Canada is higher than in the US. Average income is higher in the US only because of the significant inequality there with a small group holding most of the wealth.

If we are serious about matching or surpassing average income in the US, then we need to create more cdn billionaires.

Even when they are notified that unlawful material has been posted they are not required to take it down. They also have the nerve to argue that requiring them to include certain voices or perspectives interferes with their free speech/free press rights to determine the content on their platforms.

It follows from this that every girl/woman after puberty has a duty to try to get pregnant every month (except for those months in which they are already pregnant).

β€œCanada lives because of the United States” (Trump). Yes Canada lives because throughout our history we have chosen not to be part of the United States, to understand ourselves as different from the US, to follow a different path than the US, and to play a different role in the world than the US.

Distinguished University Professor Emeritus

β€œThe Social Character of Rights and the Limits of Adjudication”

In this talk, Prof. Moon will consider two themes that have recurred in his writing: first, that constitutional rights do not simply protect individual autonomy but instead protect different aspects of human flourishing or dignity in the community, and second, that courts, as adjudicative bodies, are unable to give full or even significant protection to these rights.

The Toronto Blue Jays were in the World Series - for the time being Canada is not the US. While a majority of the players on the team are American many are not. There are even a few Canadians.

If we had any doubts before, the statements today by the leader and deputy leader of the Conservative Party enthusiastically supporting the American actions in Venezuela make clear that the federal Conservative Party as currently constituted must never hold office in this country.

The median income in Canada is higher than that in the US. Average income in the US is higher because of the large number of billionaires.

Doug Ford will outlaw municipal speed cameras this fall: sources Sources say Ford's Progressive Conservatives will table legislation later this fall to outlaw the "automated speed enforcement" devices.

End speed traps and roadside breathalyzer, since they don’t give drivers a fair opportunity to evade the law? What about police use of fingerprint and DNA evidence which are unfair to criminals, since it makes it harder for them to escape punishment?
