Decided to do thistles for Douglas, no idea what to do for Willow if I go for it. But imagine this as the end paper of a hand made journal, that could be neat.

Did some linocuts and I wanted to try my hand at a design that could work as a tile for a full pattern. These thistles still work on their own as well though.

I'm hesitant to post since I am still trying to learn digital painting, but if it means it might make somebody else happy I can get over my own insecurities. One of my 2026 resolution is to try and get into painting digitally, I struggle a lot with it but you don't get better by not doing it.

A pencil study of a knight helmet and pauldrons done in pastel colors.

Got some pencils in pastel colors in italy in fall and with my resolution to do more sketchbook stuff and more studies I finally unpacked them. Ngl, missing darker tones for shadow and they are a tad dry but I got them at the grocery store so I won't complain.
