As a trans guy who works professionally in international DEI and workforce strategy, January has been quite the ride.

Little do these fools know that pronouns help people understand the gender of the person they are talking to via email. Even more so for those from outside the USA or non-native English speakers.

I know several women JDs who are absolutely lovely.

One thing no one tells you about testosterone as a transman is how UNBELIEVABLY LONG your nose and eyebrow hairs get.

Being an older transman is a weird experience. You go from a rando to a dad and then expected to give advice on DIY projects.

Though I will never be anywhere near as handy as the lovely @mercurystardust.bsky.social , I can rock an epic plumbers crack.

I went from enby to small hairy animal in less than 4 months.

I was not prepared.

I came out to my landlords as trans some months ago because I was getting so fuzzy. My landlord popped over to fix a lock and reached out, rubbed my cheek and beamed "WOAHH ITS GROWING IN!" Then told me all about razors and best practices for shaving.

There are good people out there. 💙

I'm a transgender man working in DEI globally. And wow the lack of understanding from people about the role of DEI in any institution is wild.

To all the baby queers and baby trans reading, you will get through this. We all will. Hugs from an older transguy.
