Old enough to remember when Maher thought lobbing missiles at a country was a cowardly move.

Doing our best to get them installed. We carry on. Looking forward to saying hi.
Let's talk about right-of-way design, pedestrian streets, park and building edges, and building access.
March 10 at the Jimmie Simpson Recreation Centre. I'll be there in a professional capacity -- come by!
The thing with DiManno is that she DOES have thoughts about those areas of the city, but those thoughts should disqualify her from ever writing in a national newspaper.
I'm not even going to politely like this post.
The Raptors 905 picking up Markelle Fultz, which got me thinking (again): post-1976 merger, he's got to be one of the three worst #1 pick busts of all time. I'd put Bennett as the all-time worst, then Oden, and then Fultz.
Spain trip locked in -- Barcelona, Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada, Valencia. If there are any (off-the-beaten-track) recommendations I should know about, fire away!
Columnist Brain is a dangerous and sad thing.
I don't know, I think DiManno would write a column like this just because. A truly rancid soul at work.
Spent the last couple of days searching for my teeny tiny violin.
Hmmm, makes you wonder: what other blind spots does Paikin have as the "objective" voice at TVO?
Yes, I appreciate that cyclists/scooter-riders, etc. can be reckless and that there should be a reckoning to a certain extent on appropriate behaviour for those modes. That said, it's hard for me to not bang the drum about cars too -- they are and continue to be the lethal and critical issue.
Everyone has a story about a rude cyclist. Except those stories usually do not end with someone getting killed!
Bluesky transportation engineer/planner here: I'm fine with this. (In the Toronto context, the maddening thing continues to be the police going after cyclists in High Park regularly -- and with glee -- while ignoring the insane vehicle speeding happening just outside the park.)
And in every community consultation for a new development, we're told that the schools are full. Which is true -- minus accounting for school closures/consolidations due to shrinking population.
When I started in development review (late 2012), we used to get HUGE stacks of plans (most of which, sadly, would be recycled), so going digital is an improvement. And yet!
I sometimes think about how much easier my life would be if Adobe Acrobat did the one thing it was supposed to do (open and interact with PDFs)
Mfer said "selfishly" twice.
A singular delight! I know not every book has to be a TV show/movie, but I selfishly do want to see a version of Pepper on a screen somewhere. Selfishly, I just want more of that whole universe!
Such an enjoyable book. Reread both this past year. Cannot wait for the third book. Ray Carney for life.
I say again: ๐ซก
I'm going to say this carefully: I thought it was pretty good, but I was not sending letters home about it.
Godspeed, buddy.

It'll only FEEL like 140
Nothing like seeing the 126-minute runtime of The Bride! and just knowing in your soul it is OK to skip it.
Sorry, sorry, it's funny if the right-wing vote in Toronto gets split because of Michael Ford.
He's just some guy now, is that correct?
