@Ronald, 20 or so years ago I was acquainted with the fellow who owned the property. Then in his 80's and preparing it for sale. It was much smaller then, subsequent owners added the mansard roof and the bowed front.

Like death and taxes, one of the sureties in life is that Meta is evil.

as my wife refers to me as the "dog magnet," but with Lexi, I'm the proverbial kid whose mother needs to tie a pork chop around his neck to get the dog to play with him. Oh well.

For the first few days, she'd only leave her dog bed to eat or go out or to growl at me, but slowly she came out of her shell and after about 6 weeks her real personality began coming out. She adores my wife and tolerates me, only because I feed her and give out treeats.

This is all pretty funny,

so the search was on after T-giving. She found a Potcake rescue org, strays from the Caribbean islands that had Lexi who was difficult to place due to extreme timidity. The pup, 9 mos old was being fostered a couple of hours from us so we visited and after Christmas, she came home with us.

It may or may not be to my taste, but that is a question of artistic judgement and a separate question. I absolutely want to work that you've created through your own expression, but not that of a computer that composed the image from stolen works.

If you put together collages taken from street photos that were taken by yourself or others, you are going through a creative process of selecting the fragments that you're using and then arranging them into a single image, you are by definition creating a piece of art.

AI is not photography, it isn't even a creative process as it steals from the work of others whose photos were scraped off the internet. We are being deluged with AI slop, both intentional and unintentional fakes, there is no need to add to that.
