Oh no.... So glad he survived. But what a tribute to you, that he knew he would be safe in your house. Poor Papaπ. I hope they will be safe in the water gardens...

Enjoy genealogy; and helping others with their family history questions. Just a hobby, but a fascinating one. Love the way it involves so many disciplines; not just history, but geography, politics, economics and so much more.

Oh good! So pleased to see them again!!
Glad the walk was good. A stunning picture! But so sorry for the unnecessary stuff that preceded it.

There are just 65 calendars in thisπprint run
They make π―π²presents bc they dial down levels of stress hormone for a whole year just by looking at the photos, through the gentle power of bonny twigs on the human brain
Plus you'll be supporting 2 v small independent businessesπΏ
Tomorrow evening at 8pm UK time Iβll be putting the last of my 2025 botanical calendars in my Etsy shop. I design my photos using recent research to move your brain away from fight or flight by just looking at them. Small print run, dispatched by π. Previous print runs sold out v. quickly πΏ
Wow!! Just making ourselves properly at home again!
Still not forgiven him!
Oh, thank goodness! Just found this on that other place, so came here to see I'd missed the one saying Mama had returned. π¦’ππ¦’
Lots of doodles of birds in a sketchbook in blue ink with the fountain pen I used to draw them.
As I'm new here I'm not sure whether being honest about mental health, mental illness, autism & ADHD would be welcomed here. Maybe put a like on this if it either doesn't bother you or you'd find it helpful/might make you feel less alone with things you struggle with.
The more the better!!
So pleased it went well!!

If someone earned 50 shillings a week 100 years ago, was that... good or bad?
Our handy guide 'What could you buy with a working class wage?', c.1900s-1920s, may be able to help!

Thank you from me too.... Fascinating!
I love the colour of these.... One day I will treat myself to one of your rings. Just need to save up first! The fossil coral ones were lovely too!!
Sending you calm thoughts.... and hugs!
We have the original of my husband's Grandfather's Enlistment Form into the RFA dated 19 Nov 1914. He was 16 but said he was 18. Was in France with the RFA 7 Sept 1915 -rumour that his mother didn't know until he wrote to her from France & got the WO to send him home. Ended up serving in Palestine.
Just looked him up! Was familiar with the possums you find in NZ, but not these.
It would be so great if you could RT my Etsy shop in the twoots below/above. Myπ² jewellery orders usually make up a significant part of my income at this time of yr but the X exodus has meant Iβve only received 1 order-pretty scary income-wise. A small boost would help so much. ThankyouπΏ
Pleased to see you! Hope that new swan has disappeared again!
Thinking about bringing π¦’ππ³π over here then. Hoping to find the nature loving community I have left behind. Never been one to ask to be shared, but Iβd be grateful if you could tell people Iβm here.
Oh - we haven't seen Annie for ages!! Hope she is well!
What's that? In the UK, so don't recognise it at all.
I know it's a little early for an advert on here but this evening I'll be opening my Etsy shop (silverpebble) to take orders forπ².
I cast real flowers & nature finds in recycled silver & make tiny wearable versions of much-loved bird species.
I'll link to my shop this evening...I ship anywhereπΏ
That will be really lovely, Emma!
Good to see you here!
Hi!!! Good to see you here now!
I remember a patient in hospital in Taunton, SW England in early 1980. She'd had polio, but needed one of these machines for post-op recovery. There was only 1 in the whole of the southwest, brought specially from Bristol. She had so many medics visiting - as they'd never seen one before. Incredible
Did families sometimes refuse permission for names to be added to Parish memorials? Though I see that the stone does say died for King and Country. Presumably their mother had the names added to the gravestone.
