they're one of my go-to YouTube channels for concert videos, so when i was looking for stuff to do in Frankfurt they were definitely on the list!
(my only minor complaint is entirely self-inflicted - i just arrived from the US this afternoon, and so was getting a bit sleepy at points π΄)

A kitchen counter with a cursed square waffle and cursed waffle iron on it with that βoptimally packed 17 squaresβ layout that is deeply unsettling to look at. The outer parts are aligned to a square but there are 7 squares in the middle at various angles and it looks like complete nonsense but it is in fact the most compact way to store 17 squares in a larger square. I have no idea where this came from and whoever made it should go to jail.
You may not like it, but this is the optimal way to construct a waffle with exactly 17 squares.

Today's first ride - N77520, a Boeing 737-800 flying for United, first flew in January 2010.
(It is currently 82Β° at my departure airport and in the mid-40s at my destination, so that's fun.)

i think some of it is decision paralysis - like, there's *so many* GFMs out there, and there's no obvious way to pick one over another, so it feels easier to just say "well, i'll toss it into the Big Charity pot and let the experts sort it out"
