AHS Sensation was the most wonderful time!! this may be my favorite concert/event I have ever attended. the care and joy throughout the whole thing... I'll never forget this!!! I would travel as far as I need to go, as a fan of AHS for so long, this was worth anything!! #AHS先生
We went to 39Party* afterwards with @mystsaphyr.art @celestrai.bsky.social @onairic.bsky.social and listened to people belt Vocaloid karaoke! We signed the guest book so you might find us in there if you ever go.
no new waddle dees today . but here are the kirby cafe ones I forgot to post yesterday! there is also a sticker that I put away (drink is the wado wado carnival even though the lid was kawasaki)
I had some pretty hard stuff happen to me this year so far in a lot of different parts of my life, but this trip has already been so healing and I've gotten a lot of clarity on where I'm heading and who I'm heading there with! (metaphorically)

ITS AHS SENSATION !!!! part 1 was so amazing and even touching at parts and the mini live was incredible !!! part 2 (the vocalsynth concert portion) is just about to start!! :') I havent been able to give out my freebies yet so hopefully I can loiter afterwards to give them out!!

today we were in Roppongi for a bit this morning, and then went over to the Skytree! there was a last minute opening + they weren't busy because it was an off time, so we also got into the Kirby Café! (we also have a reservation later in the trip)
I forgot to update with the rest from yesterday !! we had some more fun in Odaiba and stopped in Akihabara on the way back, ran into the vocalsynth section of Bic Camera by chance! and my waddle dee power only grows

i also just really like wordplay that might be why it hits so hard. wordplay in any language always gets me interested no matter how simple or complicated
just learned that japanese fan communities use oshi-goto (推し事) to describe oshikatsu activities that you treat seriously like a job (in a lighthearted pun way) 😭 thats absolutely what it feels like when your favorite is a VOCALOID and you become a producer for them, its the perfect term
one thing I definitely am doing on this trip is waddle dee maxxing . its the age of the waddle dee and merchandise is extremely plentiful I won't let this pass me by. also when i was halfway through this post my partner got waddle dee in the bath bomb we bought so im considering that an endorsement
today was mostly burnout from the flight and logistics with no real time for sightseeing, so it was as good a day as any to settle on yoshinoya takeout for the night
starting a japan trip thread!! we are here for a long time (~23rd) so this might get a bit long! we're primarily here for AHS Sensation (7th), Kirby Hankyu Rail (~17th), and Project Voltage Live! (20th) I often forget to take photos so this might be disjointed

Ahh its been all work crunch for me since they announced it so I unfortunately hadn't had the opportunity. I'm not a serious songwriter and don't have time to improve so I don't mind submitting something that's terrible, I'm just having fun!!
for me I just stick my actual age in there! I think for my purposes that ends up being less confusing - things like "20+" can sometimes read as guidelines (along the lines of "18+") so i just put my age in there like a fact. But I think anything works for the most part!
