Seconding this β I just finished watching and it's great. Getting into the meta weeds on animation without sounding like an academic and keeping it understandable is a fine line to balance, and Drew did a great job in this video.

A deep-dive show βn tell about what makes hand-drawn animation special in an accessible way that still respects the viewerβs intelligence, whether versed in animation or not. A rarity.

1. I wish people don't dismiss four-panel, newspaper style strips as "lesser". The medium is just as valid as graphic novels.
2. I hate the mentality that comics must be printed in color in order to sell. Like, you guys do know that most mangas are printed in B&W and they sell like hotcakes, right?
