Last night I found a 50 year old Rupert the Bear annual on the charity bookshelf at Barrow-in-Furness railway station. The content was a little raunchier than I remember.

Just helped a relative get their car from the pound (they forgot to display their blue badge, and it got towed). Get this: we stood at the counter and had to email the necessary documents to the person behind the counter. She then printed them out. And then scanned them in again.
I’m off work a bit poorly, so thought I’d give daytime TV a try. Goodness. EVERY advert is a charity campaign. Abandoned animals, homelessness, child cruelty… It’s a total assault on the feels. (Also, a damning reflection of the UK right now)
