No matter how one wishes it to be so,
you can not go back!
No real clue how I ended up here, but dealing.
Miss constant company of my Askum.
Know spring is on the way,
Gloomy dreary days seem to affect me more lately.
Sends me off into reminiscence,
lots of coulda shouldas.

WAR CRIMES Hegseth torpedoed an UNARMED ship sailing home from a friendly naval exercise, killed 87 sailors, and left the rest floating in the Indian Ocean without lifting a finger to help.

Hard to get motivated to get out and about.
No one to prod me into motion!
Can feel the heaviness of dark blanket!
Snow covered in brown road dust,
quickly days pass unnoticed!
Flowers in house, blooming..
a tidbit of days to come!
Ephemeral shadows pass,
Reminders of gone days!

Up an wandering this lonely home!
Talking to myself a lot these days.
Regular morning chores, add to notes,
a cup or two, flip through pictures.
Finally head out for walk down his lane!
Beautiful skies, hard nut wind. Again!
Melting quickly.
Short visit, talk lagged!
Remember!!

Christmas in March, Heavy wet white stuff.
Snowplows early, melting road beds!
Shoveling like lifting white concrete.
Empty porch, No critic of my work today.
Shorter walk down the Lane,
trees shedding snow quickly!
A morning old friend would have loved.
Deep snow, slow walk!

As my walk progressed down Askum’s Lane,
I pondered whether I now talked more to him than before?
Suppose I am just asking myself questions?
Woods now awakening with sounds, a flitting motion.
A different scent fills the air, colors sharper.
Possible, I too am awakening again!

Shooting people--US citizens who have done absolutely nothing illegal--IN THE BACK--WHILE PINNED TO THE GROUND BY 6--8 Enforcers.
The ICE/CBP Brute Squad doesn't simply "use pepper spray."
THEY SHOOT POINT BLANK INTO THEIR PINNED VICTIMS' NOSE, EYES, AND MOUTH.

Today is St David's day, the patron saint of Wales..🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.. .. These gorgeous daffodil's are also the national flower of Wales.. You don't find daffodils anywhere else on the Towans so I do wonder if this clump was planted in memory of someone whose favourite bench this was.
