John’s Bits and Pieces: Clouds, clouds, an more clouds! Opened skies for Skies on Fire sun set! Night rain, drizzle, mist, fog, an low hanging stratus clouds. Holy Jumping’ hidden slick spots after freezing rain. Regulars at feeder. 31ºF headed to 40. Ya’ll be careful out there!

He might well be from his Summerlands Petal.

Lovely day, as evening fell, lights flickered on under dark clouds. Frolicking waves along shore, Sea Ducks in large floats. Morning, gray drab sky, covering my world. Woodpecker sounds, birds in high speed! 23ºF headed to 34. Ya’ll be careful out there!

Up an wandering this lonely home!
Talking to myself a lot these days.
Regular morning chores, add to notes,
a cup or two, flip through pictures.
Finally head out for walk down his lane!
Beautiful skies, hard nut wind. Again!
Melting quickly.
Short visit, talk lagged!

Day of bluer than blue. Absolutely stunning sunset, slowly building from cirrus clouds, striking pinks to yellows. Morning slow to come, pale feathery skies.

Christmas in March, Heavy wet white stuff.
Snowplows early, melting road beds!
Shoveling like lifting white concrete.
Empty porch, No critic of my work today.
Shorter walk down the Lane,
trees shedding snow quickly!
A morning old friend would have loved.
Deep snow, slow walk!

Woke early to Currier and Ives painting, Last nights snow fall, thick heavy on trees, coating all. Winter fog on pond, glistens in bright sun. Stark contrast to gray ocean clouds. Pileated tapping, feeder jam. 27ºF headed to 44. Ya’ll be careful out there!

As my walk progressed down Askum’s Lane,
I pondered whether I now talked more to him than before?
Suppose I am just asking myself questions?
Woods now awakening with sounds, a flitting motion.
A different scent fills the air, colors sharper.
Possible, I too am awakening again!

After a nasty cold windy day, Morning broke soft, still with pale pastel sunrise. Moon hid behind the hills. Out into bright sunlight, one lost cloud! Buds swelling! Birds at the feeder early, emptying quickly. 7ºF headed to 36. Ya’ll be careful out there!

Today is St David's day, the patron saint of Wales..🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.. .. These gorgeous daffodil's are also the national flower of Wales.. You don't find daffodils anywhere else on the Towans so I do wonder if this clump was planted in memory of someone whose favourite bench this was.
