Oh and btw! I have been wearing glasses my entire life and I’ve lived in three different states and MULTIPLE eye doctors completely missed this. I have had so many glasses my whole life and nothing has worked this well (it’s not perfect yet, still need to adjust) you need to see a bvd SPECIALIST

I also still have other chronic illnesses, but my eyes were genuinely making me dissociate multiple times a day because they were so strained and had double vision and it kept triggering my ocd. The reason I’m posting all this is in case someone feels similar and it helps someone else…this is insane

For the past 11 years they put me on so many psychiatric medications and misdiagnosed me with so much shit I won’t even get into. Turns out I needed glasses and eye exercises and physical therapy. Of course I still have ocd and probably still autism, but like I wasn’t supposed to suffer THAT MUCH….

I can look people more in the eyes now and I’m more social. I can handle more noise. I went to Walmart and chipotle and I didn’t feel like dying and I was so happy. I could see every leaf and branch on every tree while in a moving car in the passenger seat. I didnt dissociate in the car.

I’ve been exercising and reading books and crocheting and light isn’t bothering my eyes as much and I have less headaches and fatigue already 🥺 if you got autism, adhd, ocd, POTs, mcas, hypermobility/EDS, thyroid disease, etc etc then you should probably look into binocular vision dysfunction…

It’s ok…I’m getting a lot better now. I finally got my prism glasses for binocular vision dysfunction and it made such a big change just on day one. It’s day two and my family can tell I feel like a new person already. Now I’m working on muscle strengthening for my hypermobility
