If you are in a workflow with AI, ensure the liability is not borne by you.
For ex, if you are asked to check an AI generated text, YOU would bear the liability.

Marty Zhu from Cymonote made an interesting point: as we get better support with numbers and terms, we can focus on crafting the message and storytelling, something AI would not be as good at. As Marty said: take acting kasses!

The snow in our back yard is now filthy, but the rugs look fresh and smell even better!
OK, smaller but not TOO small... And the outcrufting (thanks for the word @adenasch.bsky.social 😍) has kicked into high gear - out in 2 months!
SO happy for snow finally arriving in my part of the world.
I'm just waiting for it to be deep enough so my rugs get a good cleaning!
A weekend at home because on car-free day, they've cancelled all the trains to town. Joined-up thinking indeed!

I'd like to thank everyone who helped make this #AIIC392 run smoothly - the IAB, CC, BTG, ExCo, Secretariat, rapporteurs, lawyer, and the members who engaged in the important debates.
The final day of #AIIC392 Assembly just ended, with many important votes - on budget and dues, on new membership categories, and on our future structure! It's been a busy meeting, and definitely worth engaging in, as it will affect #AIIC for the upcoming years.

On day 2 of our hybrid #AIIC392 Assembly we are discussing and voting on resolutions and amendments that will affect #AIIC for the rest of the triennium and beyond.
It's been a very productive day!

The business of #AIIC392 is moving ahead, electing members of committees and now moved on to amendments and resolutions.
We couldn't do it at all without all the volunteer interpreters that are taking part on site, attached to Zoom. I certainly needed them when Spanish was spoken!
At #AIIC329 we are paying respects to all our members who passed since January.
In particular, we remember Christopher Thiery, founding member and honorary president, who has had a long and illustrious career.
I remember interpreting him at #AIIC 's 50th anniversary. He was a great man.

Going through my contacts list and realizing how many I no longer need, or even know who they are...
Still not caught up. And seeing all sorts of things that I don't understand in reviewing the in-between lessons.
Deffo stopping once my subscription runs out.
On day 235 of Duolingo Chinese, and suddenly the lesson number I was on became way more advanced...
I had to go back an entire section - and now they also present it very differently, so am playing catch up.
Did this happen to anyone else?
I have too many options, despite a lack of wifi:
2 ereaders with different books going
2 streaming platforms with 6 downloaded series
Physical books galore
Documents to prepare
Why am I playing games on my smartphone?
And after my sun-sitting, I realized that there are zero trains back.
Staying home the rest of the day!
